Going to church is good for the soul!

My wife can fix some of the best sweet potato casserole in the world. She has a family secret recipe that people have been trying to get for years. There is always somebody that wants some but we never see them coming to get it. We never see them getting up, getting ready to come to Kinston. So guess what, they don’t get any of the sweet potato crack!
Such it is with people in this world. They don’t GET UP, GET READY, and GO TO CHURCH! So guess what…they don’t get what they need! They miss out on the best thing for their life—the Word of God! The church has the greatest hope in this world. The church has the Lord Jesus Christ—the Bread of Life. He can satisfy any need. He heals the broken hearted. He sets the captive free. He makes the incomplete, complete. The church is the place where He is taught! The church is where He is preached! Simply put the church is good for the soul! Are you going to church today?
