Praising or Pouting

How you look at your circumstances may just determine the outcome of your circumstances!

My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth. Psalm 57:7-11

David’s attitude in his circumstances was that of steadfastness, faithfulness, and obedience. David kept his eyes on the Lord. David praised God and sang songs during his dilemmas. David said in his tragedies he would be a witness to the people and among the nations. David exalted the Lord with his life and gave God the glory for everything God was doing and he accomplished.

What is your attitude in the dilemma you are in right now? Are you being faithful in your service to the Lord? Do you continue to serve Him even though you are discouraged, despondent, or depressed? David didn’t stray much but when he did he repented and continued on for the glory of God! What are you doing?
