It is a mistake to suppose that God does not want us to be holy until death, for that would mean that He wants us to be unholy until death. God does not want us to be unholy at any time. -Anonymous
Romans 12:1-2, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
To say, “I cannot be holy”, is to say, “God is a liar”. For God has commanded us to be holy. The catch is, in and of ourselves we cannot be holy. We must have the Holy Ghost of God living in us. We cannot be holy without being saved. We cannot be saved without repenting of our sin and trusting Jesus Christ as Saviour. Holiness begins with one act, then another, and then another.
