DON’T DOUBT GOD

Doubters invert the metaphor and insist that they need faith as big as a mountain in order to move a mustard seed. -Anonymous

Luke 17:6, And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Have you ever heard that, “If you only had more faith, this or that wouldn’t have happened?” I have. Once I had someone tell me it was because of my lack of faith that my dad wasn’t healed from his cancer. I didn’t agree with that individual because my dad did get healed. He got the ultimate healing, friend! He doesn’t have any more pain or suffering! He was completely healed the day the Lord took him home.

Friend, it is important that we have faith! I need to have more faith! But can I share a truth to you, if my faith isn’t in God’s will, no matter how much faith I have, whatever it is; will not happen. So, let us pray as the Lord prayed, “O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” When things don’t seem to go the direction we desire them to go, we know that God’s way is a whole lot better than our way! We can rest in Him. Don’t ever doubt God. Have faith in His way, His will, and His work in your life!

Doubting Hinders God's Work!

Every step toward Christ kills a doubt.  Every thought, word, and deed for Him carries you away from discouragement. –Culyer

And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. Mark 9:24

So often our doubt in the abilities of The Saviour keeps the best from us! Doubting He can save. Doubting He can provide. Doubting He can prevent. Doubting He can forgive. The father doubted but when His Doubt turned into faith... Jesus did a work!
