Our Heavenly Father has left us down here on Earth not just to go to work each day, go on vacations every once in a while, or invest in the stock market. There is nothing wrong with any of those things but He has left us here to be about His business. What is His business? His business is winning souls for His honor and glory. His business is winning souls for man’s eternal good. His business is seeing homes restored, the hopeless given hope, those wounded by life healed, and the one that is in the grips of death redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb! His business ought to be our business! Get on your knees this morning and begin to fight the spiritual fight before you step out in the world today!
When we come to our home going, we can say like Paul did, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8
