ACCESS NOT DENIED

Jesus’ door is always open to those who come to Him by faith.

Romans 5:2, By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

            Some companies you work for have an open-door policy. What this means is you can come into the owner’s office anytime the door is open. You don’t have to make an appointment or get preapproved. You don’t even have to follow the chain of command by going to your immediate supervisor. What an awesome way to show you support your employees!

            What’s better than any owner’s open-door policy is that the Lord can be accessed at any time and in any place! You don’t have to wait for an open door because the door is never closed! You can call out to Him in the morning or the evening. You can call out to Him at the maternity ward or the funeral home. You will never be denied access to the Lord if you come to Him in faith!

At 11:59:59 last night we turned the page into a New Year. With this New Year come new opportunities; new opportunities to serve the Lord greater than 2017. Are you preparing to serve the Lord more in 2018? If you are not, you will miss some of the opportunities God has lined up for you. He’s going to give us opportunities; we must be ready for them as much as we can. And when He opens the door, we can go through it by faith knowing He will be there to guide us!
