When a man turns to God desiring to serve Him, God directs his attention to the world and its need. -Brunner
Ezekiel 22:30, And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
When I used to run my own business, I often needed a bucket. I would go to the garage and search for one. I’d go to our building looking for one. Eventually I would find one but most of the time they all had something in common, they had holes in them! So, I would either grab a roll of duct tape or a tube of caulking and the fixing of the bucket began. Before I knew it, I would be filling it up with whatever.
Friend, the Lord is searching for a few good servants. You don’t have to be perfect, educated, or sinless. None of us are fully educated for the work God has called us to do. None of us are qualified to do the work. But all of us that are gloriously saved by the grace of God has the potential to be a good servant. All we need to do is make ourselves available to what God’s Will is for our lives. Will you yield to His will?
